Cisco’s $250 million Cloud Managed Services (CMS) business is part of the $9 billion Technical Services business at the core of the company today CMS is critical to helping Cisco’s customers transition from on-premise IT environments to Solution’s based strategies to embrace both Public and Private cloud.

This role is responsible for the management of the team within the Platform Architecture and Engineering (PAE) that designs and builds the instructions to ensure that events are accurately combined into workable incidents and that tickets are enriched with accurate information to enable delivery teams to quickly resolve problems.

·       Contribute to incubating innovation to support Technical Services’ strategy

·       Provide mature business perspective and solid business acumen in support of platform engineering activities

·       Deliver results across organizational boundaries

·       Effectively manage multiple initiatives in various stages of development across the organization at the same time

·       Prioritize competing needs and make important resource decisions to provide high-quality maximum impact deliverables on schedule

·       Establish and enhance work flows, best practices and standards to ensure excellent customer experience

·       Ensure all Security and Data Sovereignty guidelines are followed

·       Define KPIs needed to ensure high quality deliverables

·       Work cross functionally with our global delivery, problem management and SW developers to integrate platform capabilities

·       Develop, refine, and analyze metrics on the success of the team

·       Actively particiate in the Problem Management and CSI processes to improve delivery and customer success

Qualifications

·       8+ years of professional experience in corporate or functional software development roles

·       Ability to drive results through influence – ability to focus on most critical issues and establish a simple and pragmatic path to decisions

·       Customer centric mind-set and approach to solving problems

·       High threshold for ambiguity during early phases of engagements

·       Ability to engage and influence peers and stakeholders independently

·       Strong initiative leadership skills – structuring transformation and execution projects

·       Self-starter and innovative thought leader

·       Creative problem solving skills

·       Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in order to achieve business objectives

·       Ideally broad familiarity with Services functions and business objectives within a technology based company.

·       Strong presentation, meeting facilitation and communications skills
