Administrative Assistant –  Customer Care Business Unit (CCBU)

What You'll Do
Administrative Professional needed to provide support General Manager of a global business, and business leaders, including Director of Product Management.

The ideal candidate is someone who can work in a cross-functional organization, handle complex requirements and thrives on helping the team be successful both in terms of executing tasks and in promoting an exceptional team culture. The ability to balance across time sensitive and longer-term projects/outcomes, is critical

●Manage different requirements across business leaders and prioritize effectively to ensure on time execution.

●Understands our business and priorities. Takes appropriate actions to support.

●Effectively run small projects with little or no direction.

●Proactive, professional working style to communicate progress and anticipate for changing needs.

●Proactively seek out additional ways to enable the Directors and organization

●Work efficiently to execute tasks independently using Cisco PC, web-based and other business tools.

●Collaborate with team members and Professionals across business partner groups.

●Communicate professionally and with tact verbally and in writing, across different levels of the organization.

●Able to articulate standard Cisco policy and procedures to multiple audience levels.

●Maintain a consistent customer service focused working style within the team and with business partners.

●Plan and setup for group meetings.

●Coordinate travel, process requisitions and handle expenses following Cisco policy, process and tools.

●Make sound decisions to support teams’ and leaders' priorities and work focus.

●Assist account managers to provide existing and potential customers from around the globe.

●Arrange logistics such as conference room, speaker scheduling, catering, preparing agenda, providing surveys.

In addition to the general administrative duties of an Administrative Assistant, daily tasks are carried out at a higher level of complexity. This includes researching issues, analyzing problems, determining approaches, compiling data and preparing reports. Due to the frequent engagement of the Director across Cisco as a whole, this individual will interface with and coordinate activities with other EA's and executives in Cisco. Work is generally of a critical and confidential nature.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications

● 6+ years’ experience in an administrative environment. A minimum of two years of experience supporting a principal who was at the Director level and above or combination of education and experience

Exceptional organizational skills for own work and ensure directors stay on track, on schedule and organized.

Extensive experience working in a diverse work environment, and can represent Cisco's Inclusion & Diversity values and culture.

Strong proactive, can-do attitude and ability to maintain professional, calm, and customer-service oriented interpersonal style at all times.

Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.

Must be able to work in Boxborough office.

Desired Skills

Budget and org chart management and tools.

Handle confidential and sensitive information with discrete.

Ability to work cross-functionally, in fast-paced, evolving business environment, and have an appreciation for broader, business strategies.

Exceptional reputation for being patient, flexible, a team player and willing to assume responsibilities outside of comfort zone.

Strong track record and work ethic to proactively learn new skills and acquire business knowledge.

Ability to work with minimal guidance on routine work, and seek and willing to receive guidance or instructions on new assignments.

Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint applications, and other Cisco web-based tools and business applications.
