What You'll Do

"In this role, the candidates will be providing vital support related to the area of indirect tax compliance, specifically related to India. The ideal candidates will have the flexibility, cross-functional communication skills, and the ability to adapt and learn independently in the team-oriented and innovation-focused culture of the Cisco enterprise. The candidates will be responsible for the preparation and filing of the India GST returns for multiple registrations of various Cisco India entities. The candidates will have to be able to analyse, interpret data and prepare reconciliation reports to drive the compliance activity. The candidates will also have to assist in tax audits for Cisco India entities. The Candidates should have broad knowledge and experience of U.S. GAAP/India GAAP and its application; understand the inter dependencies of tax compliance, financial accounts and other cross functions activities. Have a flexible attitude as the team further expands and takes on additional roles and responsibilities.

Who You'll Work With

Cisco's International Tax Compliance Team (ITC), part of the Global Tax and Customs organization, seeks experienced Tax Analysts specialized in India tax compliance matters.

Who You Are

The ITC team is responsible for managing Cisco's non-US direct and indirect tax compliance, providing tax audit support, optimizing tax processes and other related activities. This includes effectively performing tax compliance work or managing outsourced tax compliance activities, developing world class international tax provision and reporting solutions, and working effectively with internal tax/finance/accounting colleagues on end-to-end processes. This team is also responsible implementing and standardizing tax compliance processes.
