What You'll Do 
The successful applicant will manage assigned supplier and internal  stakeholder relationships in support of Cisco's Technology procurement activities   Responsibilities include supporting the development of a Category Strategy including market/Supplier/Spend analysis, Spend/ product & Service optimization, internal stakeholder relationship management, sourcing and negotiation, supplier management.  You will directly execute and support the implementation of the Category Strategy.  You will remain aware of industry trends and innovations and incorporate for Cisco's benefit.  You will work closely with the Operations Teams to continuously monitor and adapt plans based on market intelligence and data.  You will negotiate commercial terms to obtain the best overall value proposition for Cisco with assigned suppliers/partners.

Who You'll Work With
The successful applicant will be part of a Global Procurement Team responsible for Technology sourcing, inclusive of Software, Cloud, Hardware, Data Center, Telecommunications sourcing primarily for our IT business partner as well as multiple business functions within Cisco.  This team translates Cisco's Technology needs into business value solutions for our internal business clients.

Who You Are
7+ Years of Procurement Management Experience.  Demonstrated ability to utilize Six Sigma, or other recognized Continuous Improvement principles in core role.  Demonstrated ability to formulate a Category/Commodity Strategy including KPIs and Savings targets and successfully lead to execution.  Must be highly collaborative and have demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority.  E2E understanding of procurement activities.  Strong Technology business acumen.  Ability to anticipate impacts of decisions and actions downstream and adjust accordingly.  Understanding of Technology market trends within the Software and Cloud arena.  Ability to demonstrate core foundational skills in the following areas:  Cost accounting,  Continuous Delivery, Digital Process Improvement, Analytics and Data Science, Effective Communications based on Data.  Familiarity with Cognitive and AI platforms.
