What You’ll Do

You will lead business planning activities for new offerings, working closely with Security Services leadership, portfolio management teams, product management teams and GTM functions.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive activities associated with strategic account planning and project management; aggregate and analyse account roadmaps, opportunities, business models, and solutions.
  • Ensure a coordinated and consistent customer engagement within identified accounts and across region.
  • Analyse, develop and present solutions to CXO level executives.
  • Provide input into sales forecasts within region and work with delivery teams to ensure resources are aligned with future opportunities.
  • Work with Cisco's senior execs, business entities and sales teams to formulate strategy and drive strategies and new solutions.

 

Who You’ll Work With

The Business Development team of Cisco's Security Services provides pre-sales support to our customers, complimenting sales teams and solution architects by communicating value, architecting solutions, scoping work, and closing deals.

 

Who You Are

You demonstrate ability to lead strategy development based on collaboration with stakeholder organizations, are able to directly and indirectly influence a team to operate consistently. You are a strong communicator, manager and cross-functional leader.

 

Required skills:

  • Experience in security and services.
  • Demonstrated client relationship skills up to VP, and SVP-level executives in Fortune 500 accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively persuade sales, business and technical decision makers to make investment in new or emerging solutions or business models.
  • Strong strategic and financial analysis skills.  Demonstrated ability to characterize market dynamics, competitive dimensions, purchaser decision-making criteria, and extrapolate to derive unique insight.
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills, including an understanding of project dependencies and resource scheduling.  

 

Desired Skills:

·       Prior experience in consulting sales and consulting practice development

 

·       BA/BS, MBA preferred and several years’ related experience in strategy and/or business development, preferably in the security and services industries.
