We have an exciting Account Manager position open on our team! In this role, you will be calling on Comcast in a highly competitive market segment while achieving year over year growth. Comcast is one of Cisco's largest accounts, with key opportunities in many of the industry's most exciting technology areas: Next generation IP networks, mobility, video, cloud & virtualization, and Internet of Everything.

The Details:

*You will be responsible for shaping Cisco's Next Generation Access strategy with Comcast while maintaining current Access Platform sales.

* You will be able to articulate Cisco's value proposition to the customer and translate Cisco technology products into innovative solution sets with developed and sound business cases that effectively persuade the client to invest in these products/services

* You will establish strong consultant-like relationships with Executives in both their business and technical organizations

* You will have the ability to develop and execute both short and long-term engagement models between CDO, the customer, and the account team to create demand for new investment opportunities within Cisco.

* In this lead role, you will be helping to define and articulate the ongoing Cisco value proposition for the Customer.

* You will map to key customer care-abouts and new business opportunities.

* You will co-share responsibility for defining all tactics and strategies to address and mitigate competitive threats against existing Cisco installed base and/or new opportunities.

* You will build effective relationships with the appropriate Cisco Business Units to maximize their exposure to Service Providers and influence their investment to ensure managed service success.

Who You Are

* BA/BS required

* 5+ years in Service Provider, Networking or High-Technology Industries. Access Network experience a plus.

* Experience selling to Cable Companies, or other Service Provider in Access space.

* Must be able to work in a fast paced, results oriented organization where leadership, risk-taking, teamwork and commitment to execution are essential and embraced.

* Team building and the ability to listen, be perceptive of others and the ability to influence are critical personality attributes as is a hands-on, high energy, can-do, highly collaborative style.

* The ability to manage in a matrix management environment, where direct authority over key resources is limited is essential to success

* Self-Motivated, passionate individual that thrives in customer facing sales/business development environment and have experience and success with service creation, business development and go to market execution in carrier environments.

* Must be articulate with strong presentation skills and is comfortable presenting in front of customer audiences and influence their decisions.

* Individual must have excellent business acumen and financial skills to be able to effectively translate how investing in Cisco based services will help SP customer achieve their business objectives more effectively than investing in other opportunities.

* The ability to negotiate solutions to issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy required. Must have keen ability to position "end to end" solutions and articulate a primary vendor strategy to senior customer executives is essential.

* Demonstrated knowledge of a process for running a sales territory, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short term, mid-term and long term opportunity management. Must have experience obtaining a quota of $10M+ and able to travel.
