What You'll Do We are looking for a person to lead our lots-of-awards winning team of interaction designers and industrial designers. You are a designer who loves to build stuff and with an urge to see beautiful designs become real, and with a keen interest in user experiences combining hardware design and digital design. Some responsibilities • Lead/contribute to product strategy discussions with leadership based on a user centric design process • Lead a team of designers creating products of high quality from concept to specification • Gain understanding of the users and translate into clearly communicated user needs, concepts and tangible experiences • Prioritise problems and opportunities and actively manage backlogs in a cross-functional manager forum • Contribute to a consistent user experience within Cisco's brand Who You'll Work With You will be part of Norway's largest in-house design team, combining hardware, software and service design to craft a world-changing collaboration solution. You are able to effortlessly flex between the bigger picture and concrete problems. You are passionate about technology and communication, you have the ability to engage people around you, and you embrace new ways of working. Desired qualifications • Master degree from relevant design education • Practice in experience driven design and leading design processes • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills • Experience working with strategic innovation and concept development • Experience with scrum and agile in multidisciplinary teams • Up to date on trends and theory within the profession • Experience with customer experience and service design is an advantage, as well as experience taking physical products to market
