The Digital Experience and Analytics (DE&A) organization within Cisco's Global Virtual Sales & Customer Success division plays a leadership role in transforming Cisco to thrive as a digital business in today’s consumption-driven market. The team develops and implements groundbreaking analytics models and intelligent automation to transform Cisco into a data-driven digital organization

With broad-based digital expertise, DE&A is uniquely qualified to address the evolving expectations of today’s connected customers and partners, along with Cisco sellers. Using real-time connected data, machine learning and automation, across monetization models, the team enables Cisco sellers and partners to deliver a powerful, personalized experience—throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

With customer health and retention as the ultimate goal, DE&A is focused on providing customers with an immersive digital experience with Cisco. This in turn drives improvements in recurring revenue, cost savings and sales effectiveness for Cisco and its partners.

What You'll Do

As Digital Automation Specialist, in the Global Customer Success Digital Experience & Analytics team for Cisco, you will help shape Cisco’s vision and positioning for our solutions post-purchase to ensure that Cisco customers receive maximum value from our unique portfolio. Partner with subject matter experts within Cisco, our partners, and customers to develop an approach based on a unique point of view that will drive awareness, adoption, and success for Cisco customers. Work closely with our offering development teams to shape the future of our portfolio.

Role and Responsibilities:

* Platform data lead to maintain cross-platform data workflow design, multi-platform data synch, and QA acceptance of data readiness for all platforms


* Platform data mining to identify data science / machine learning model opportunities and support integration of automated, data-driven models


* Business analysis, impact assessments, and reporting to support visualization and storytelling for large initiatives and to highlight business outcomes delivered by platform capabilities


* Manage automation projects that deliver capabilities and functionality required to execute omni-channel, always-on, and personalized post-purchase journeys

* Define data automation required to deliver real-time digital experience that Cisco will leverage with our customers post-purchase

* Design and develop automated digital programs to deliver the right touch engagement defined by journey managers

* Partner with offering development, subject matter experts, and marketing disciplines across the team to develop program attributes that secure differentiation in the marketplace

* Work with operations and IT to optimize processes and incorporate applicable data and automation solutions into adoption programs.

* Leverage cross-functional teams to enhance program attributes, creating an optimized and innovative experience for the customer.

* Develop positioning for Cisco Partners that make partnership with Cisco critical to their competitive differentiation and business growth

* Stay up to date on points of view from leading industry analysts and key influencers in the market

Who You Are

Self-starter who is passionate about content, digital channels, platform automation, data analytics, ground-breaking technology and driving change. Has a strong sense of ownership, loves turning ambiguity into real outcomes, collaborative across functions and matrixed teams, embraces the belief that leadership happens from all levels.


* Agile project management experience, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and scrum management

* Proven experience in Hadoop data aggregation, transformation, CDO creation, extraction with programming experience in SQL, C, Python, JavaScript, etc.

* 2-3 years of experience in the tech industry, with specific experience working on data driven, automated campaign development and execution using Oracle Eloqua
* 3 years of experience in the tech industry, with specific experience working in the content marketing, on platform automation, digital channels.
* Exceptional writing and presentation skills; ability to leverage various types of media to tell factual stories clearly, creatively, and succinctly
* Experience at multiple stages of a technology startup: ability to see "outside-in" and connect with both technical and business audiences
* Demonstrated effectiveness in working with development organizations, sales, marketing and channel teams
