Wireless Consulting Systems Engineer  What You'll Do Cisco seeks an energetic and driven Unified Access/Wireless Consulting Systems Engineer to provide guidance and assistance to the US Enterprise account teams building Unified Access solutions to address specific Enterprise customer needs. In this position, you will be working with and as a technology expert in Unified Access/Wireless to help position the solutions effectively against competing offerings.    One of the primary technology trends we are seeing in the Enterprise Networking architecture is the migration to a single integrated, secure, wired and wireless infrastructure with wireless as the primary connectivity option. As such we need to help customers develop robust architectures that will allow them to enable wireless-first strategy. The Wireless CSE would need to position and sell architectures that enable this wireless-first strategy in a scalable, unified and secure way.  Who You'll Work With As a Unified Access/Wireless Consulting Systems Engineer you will provide guidance and assistance to the US Enterprise account teams building Unified Access solutions to address specific Enterprise customer needs. Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent. CCIE certification highly desirable and/or preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation, consultative skills and presentation skills are required. Ability to work effectively, add value as a team member and assume a leadership role for the team. Ability to train and disseminate Unified Access/Mobility information within an Area or Operation. Ability to understand complex technical and selling situations and the ability to solve the problem or solicit the required resources. This role will include potential for extensive travel responsibilities.  Developing a Wireless CSE will require a significant and specific set of skills. Due to the diverse skill set, it's unlikely any individual would have all these skills so the opportunity exists for people to develop into this role.  Must have capabilities: ¬	Exceptional Sales and presentation skills are critical ¬	Effective at communication across all functions within Cisco ¬	The ability and comfort level to present easily to customer engineers, managers and executives to effective position the value of the Cisco solutions and how it solves the customer problems or achieves their goals. ¬	Desire and ability to work with account teams on strategy, architecture and design of customer networks. ¬	Educate Sales teams on latest architectures, solutions, roadmaps and sales strategies. ¬	Ability to own an opportunity from discovery through final proposal and sale. ¬	Facilitate better communications and understanding of customer requirements between customers, corporate and the field. ¬	Create, present and document technical solutions for in-depth and high-level technical presentations to the customers, partners and prospects ¬	Participate in the writing of RFP/RFQ/RFI responses to sales needs ¬	Install POC (Proof of Concepts) on customer locations in and out of production network environments ¬	Design and Install on-site demonstrations of products and technology related to the Unified Access/Mobility and BYOD portfolio of products ¬	Deep understanding of wireless technologies and architectures. *	All wireless standards 802.11 technologies including AC, 3G/4G alternatives and how they relate to 802.11. *	Cisco wireless products including AP's, Wireless LAN Controllers, and applications and Wireless Security. *	Wireless network management - APIC-EM, CMX, Cisco Prime. *	Wireless services such as guest access, location services, RFID, BLE, etc. *	Radio communications and characteristics as it relates to the architectures. *	Networking knowledge such as Cisco LAN and WAN architecture, design, products and technologies such as mGig. *	The Cisco DNA architecture, components, value, roadmap. *	Industry knowledge, competitive capabilities and offerings. *	Understanding of the ISE. *	Capabilities that likely would need to be developed: -	Deeper understanding of the ISE. -	Deeper understanding of Policy management, Access control, Authentication mechanisms, user and device identity and containerization. Who and what get to go where on the network. *	Be able to speak to regulatory concerns - financial privacy, HIPPA, PCI, IP protection. *	TrustSec and Secure Digital Access as value add/competitive differentiation.
