Security Content Developer / Trainer

What You'll Do
You will serve as a SME as it pertains to network/security technology, policy and procedures. You will contribute to the analysis and design of new content development. You will review and provide feedback on course materials produced by your peers, and when necessary, you will assist in the maintenance and update of content. You will mentor other content developers in network and security operations.

Throughout your work efforts, you will maintain open communications with all parts of the team, and participate in projects and meetings as needed.

Who You Are
You must be a self-starter who can learn and acquire highly technical skills and knowledge quickly. You have a natural desire to learn and want to teach others!

You have worked in a NOC/SOC environment and can demonstrate a working knowledge of security principles, techniques and technologies. You are familiar with security penetration and vulnerability assessments. You have the expertise to write and present technical information to groups of peers or customers. You have knowledge necessary to identify, recommend and implement necessary security controls to meet business requirements.

Our requirements include:

  • Strong oral, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience delivering training to team members and/or customers.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in computing and information security.
  • Working knowledge of security principles, techniques and technologies
  • Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience assisting in the implementation of data access security measures, analyzing and resolving security and system problems.
  • Experience working in security architecture, operations, design, or development across multiple domains of security
  • Defining and implementing security standards to meet PCI DSS compliance requirements
  • Security Certification (CCNA-Security, CISSP, SANs) preferred
  • BA or BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.

Our team, Education Services for Customer Success, designs, develops and delivers training to our Stealthwatch customers. You will work with instructional designers, other trainers, lab managers, training coordinators, and Stealthwatch system experts to ensure we are delivering the best learning experience to our customer so our customers can achieve their business outcomes.
