Some of the key responsibilities in the role are as follows:


· Partner with the German managers, providing coaching and advice, develop and implement HR strategies and plans which support their business priorities.
· Participate in employee engagement initiatives to make Cisco Germany a ‘great place to work' for all employees, all functions.
· Participate in inclusion and diversity strategies to attract and retain diverse talent in Cisco Germany, increase awareness of Inclusion & Diversity and help make Cisco Germany an even more inclusive environment.
· Help manage any organisational changes and acquisitions.
· Responsible for setting the direction with our benefit providers, holding them accountable to the SLAs and ensuring we have fit for purpose benefits in country.
· Support any German or EMEAR wide activities as identified by the Head of HR.
· Work together with the Centre of Excellence colleagues (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, Leadership and Team Intelligence) and HR Professional Services to drive the whole employees agenda for Germany

  Collaborate with employee representatives.

We are recruiting for a talented individual to join the Germany HR team as HR Representative. This role is that of an HR generalist providing support for the country and reports to the Germany HR Leader.


Who You are


You will likely bring the following skills and experience:
* at least 2 years of experience in Human Resources

* knowledge in organizational development and consulting skills to serve as a trusted advisor to major business and HR leaders
* team experience with ability to inspire and support change through the team
* experience of working in matrix, complex, fast-moving and constantly changing environments with a high focus on collaboration (Technology experience not essential)
* experience in the operational aspects of a country HR role incl. good understanding of the core aspects of the HR Calendar of services
* You thrive on making the complex simple and bring experience of driving change
* working within an American company is desirable but not essential
* wish and ability to see the bigger picture in order to deliver against priorities
* ability and positive mindset to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced highly virtual environment
* ability to engage and influence Senior Leaders in the business, with confidence and credibility
* advanced degree in business or HR.

* understanding of Germany specific employment law aspects or curiosity to develop this.

 
* Fluent in German as well as English.
