Summary

At Koniku, we believe that all laboratory tasks can and must be automated. We will automate all R&D and manufacturing processes within Koniku continuously. A human should do a task no more than twice before a robot handoff. The human moves on to more interesting problems.

Our Lead Automation Engineer (LAE) will develop best in class 'manufacturing/scale ready' processes which combine biological cells with silicon chips. The successful applicant will work in concert with human biotech developers from disparate backgrounds.

The landscape includes integration of commercial laboratory instrumentation with customized hardware and software. The LAE will also oversee the development of a data integrated system which communicates with every seemingly mundane laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify new 3rd party contractors and maintain existing relationships.
  2. Contribute human SOPs standardization to ensure they are future machine readable.
