What You'll Do

Product Sales Specialists promote and articulate Cisco’s leading-edge solutions and services.  As a Manager PSS you will position complex technical solutions whilst adopting a business sales approach. You will define how Cisco’s products, services and partners can deliver enhanced business outcomes to our customers

Who You Are

·      Customer-focused technical sales professional who provides high level technical and product leadership both internally and externally

·      Develop new strategies and go-to-market channels for multiple product families and architectures

·      Ensure product go-to-market readiness in sales, channel and customer advocacy organizations

·      Collaborates with CM/ RSM/ AM/ SE/ PSS to recommend and develop appropriate customer solution offerings

·      Define solution options and articulate the benefits of a Cisco solution.

·      The candidate must be able to develop strong working relationships with Cisco Regional Managers, Account Managers, and Engineers to ensure alignment of sales strategies and overall Cisco business within the accounts

·      Coordinate solution development, including leveraging replicable architectures and researching customized solutions.

·      Must be able to engage internal resources, including Marketing, Advanced Services, Partners and the Business Units to drive the overall growth of the technology within Nordic market

·      Must be an aggressive self-starter with ability to build executive relationships, articulate Cisco product and business strategies

·      Provides an architectural strategy across the Cisco product portfolio and can leverage his / her technical specialization for specific opportunities.

·      Participate in the creation of a technical account plan by defining customer business problem in a technical context.

 

Technical and Business Acumen

·      Maintain tight alignment with Cisco’s Internal Business Units

·      Understand internetworking industry trends, including new products and solutions.

·      Understand competitive product and solution landscape

·      Advanced knowledge in technologies,

·      Knowledge of specialization and adjacent technologies including product, technology, and competitive information

·      Broad-level of knowledge of the industries and vertical markets

·      Understanding of the customer business model and common financial pain points; ability to frame Cisco offerings in terms of business drivers

·      Advanced understanding of Cisco vision and technology; articulate the vision from the customer perspective

Skills

  • 15+ years-related experiences 
  •  Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis required
  •  Pre-Sales experience required
