Technology Services --This opportunity involves delivering Cisco Technical Services in the area of Collaboration as a service and Managed Service. The Qualified Engineer in this account will be able to have an impact on the Huge Enterprise and service provider customers and help them  to meet their mission.

Who you are

Responsibilities:

·     Responsible for delivering Cisco Technical Services in the area of Solutions, which includes Advisory, Planning, Design, Implementation, Release Management, Capacity Management and Optimization services, to large Enterprise and Service Provider environments.

• Provides guidance and oversight to team members giving technical support for customers during software and hardware upgrades.
• Delivers migration plans and site roll outs with a thorough understanding on networked applications and related dependencies
• Leverages consultative approaches in building relationships with SMEs, both internal and external, to develop solutions.
• Interacts with Cisco's customers working within an extended cross-functional team including project manager and account team members

• Creates and maintain customer deliverable documentation including High Level Designs, Low Level Designs and Test Plans for the entire portfolio.
• Leads design workshops and delivers consultancy services to customer.
• Works to understand the changing business needs and help aligning team goals to provide meaningful solutions for our customers.
• Works, with both internal and external teams, to come up with ways to optimize processes, and to improve productivity using automation wherever possible

·     Delivers upgrade activities of CUCM, CUC, IM&P and all other cisco Collaboration products.

·     Delivers Cisco Collaboration production platform planning, Design and implementation.

·     Maintain and should be able to do capacity management of customer Collaboration clusters.

·     Emphasize on Automation and innovation where ever possible.

• Demonstrates thought leadership in solving customer’s technology challenges and help achieve their business outcomes.
• Establishes Trusted Relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Cooperates in the process of capturing, developing, sharing, and effectively using organizational knowledge and lead knowledge management in the area of Services.
• Leads efforts to drive continuous improvement as a key practice. 

Technology
• Deep technical expertise in UC technology domain with specific focus on Cisco Voice technologies
• Proven experience in implementing UC solutions across Enterprise and Service provider environments
• Experience in preparing, planning, designing, implementing and optimizing UC solutions in both Enterprise and Service Provider customer segments and a broader understanding of -wide solutions.
• Subject Matter Expert in UC Product Platforms including Call Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, IM&P, Jabber, SME and IOS Gateway.
• Fluency in a wide range of UC technology protocols including SIP, H323, MGCP,

RTP, RTCP, VXML, and different Codecs
• Fluency in operational disciplines (systems management, systems monitoring, change management, Capacity management, Release Management and Knowledge management).
• Ability to grasp complex design concepts quickly and be able to provide the right solutions to the clients.
• Ability to troubleshoot, own and resolve implementation problems during migrations and post migrations.

 Significant exposure/familiarity with the following platforms:


• Cisco Unified Communications Manager
• Cisco Unity Connection

·     Cisco IM&P

• Cisco Voice Gateways
• Cisco IP Phones
• Cisco Routers and Switches


Knowledge of/exposure to:


• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, with focus on Incident, Problem Management and Change Managment
• Process Improvement identification/execution (e.g., optimization, proactive, innovation)
• The ability to work well as a team for the ultimate success of our customers.

Must possess solid communication skills:


• Build client relations (e.g., establish productive and reciprocal relationships with Internal engineers, Customers, Partners and other stakeholders)
• Professional & concise (written & verbal)

Self-Motivated:


• Receives limited supervision
• Provides guidance and mentoring to other engineers
• Translates worldwide team goals into own work assignments
• Determines methods and procedures on new assignments

Education/Certification:


• Typically requires BE/BTECH in a technical field (CS/EE/IT preferred) or equivalent plus 6-8 years related experience
• CCIE or CCIE candidate preferred (other relevant and industry respected certifications may be considered in special circumstances).
