What You'll Do

As a senior product manager/owner, you will lead the product definition for enabling container and cloud networking in Cisco’s next generation cloud platform across containers, bare-metal and virtual machines. You will define product requirements, development roadmap, work closely with architects and engineering teams to solve hard technical and business challenges as you work through the implementation aspects. You will be also responsible for creating technical content and demonstrations to inform and engage with Cisco field as well as customers and partners.

Who You Are

- BS or MS in Computer Science or Equivalent
- 10+ years experience building/defining/scoping product roadmaps

- Been a developer in the past and are ready to be a technical hands-on PM

- In depth knowledge of container technologies like Docker & Kubernetes
- Experience working with distributed engineering teams
- Writing product definition and product requirements documents (PRDs)
- Analyzing market trends and creating Market Requirements Documents (MRDs)
- Training sales teams on technology & product details
- Gathering requirements from the field & customers
- Participating in customer conversations, for product pitches & feedback gathering

Desired Skills:
- MBA from a top school
- Analyst & Press briefing experience
- Higher level product strategy definition experience
