What You'll Do

As successful candidate for the Senior Strategic Project Manager, you will manage large, global complex strategic initiatives with high risk.

The degree of ambiguity and uncertainty of the strategic initiatives and activities requires that the senior strategic project manager quickly reduce ambiguity and focus on results. This is a senior level position and requires the candidate to have strong business acumen, clear communication styles, and an ability to build solid and ongoing relationships among global, cross-functional teams. There are often multiple inter-dependencies, and the solution impacts many cross functional teams and/or applications. You may manage a large group of project staff, possibly in multiple locations, including Cisco employees, vendors, customers and partners for the duration of the project. You will need to provide cross-functional leadership and collaborate with internal teams to determine project goals and objectives. The Senior Strategic Project Manager’s work is reviewed at critical project milestones.
