What You'll Do 

Your role will be Software Engineer and you will be part of world-class engineering team that works on various cutting edge technologies in IoT, mobility, and secure voice 

* Extremely motivated, passionate about learning and contributing to the team and the business with "can do" attitude

* Strong design/programming skills

* Strong OS fundamentals and networking concepts is a must

* Participate on a project team with a small group of engineers involved in the fast-paced development of IoT/mobility platform software.

IoT and mobility team in Cisco Enterprise Networking Group. 

Who You Are

Minimum qualification: 

● Typically requires MSEE/CS combined with 5+ years of related experience or BSEE/CS combined with 8+ years of experience 

● Hands-on experience in embedded Linux development including Linux kernel driver, multi-thread user application

● Strong C and assembly programming experience

● Familiar with microprocessor architecture – PPC/ARM/Intel

● Experience in real time embedded system debugging tools – JTAG, ICE

● Familiar with IoT micro-controller is a big plus

● Good understanding of various networking protocols and standards

● Strong passion and experience in troubleshooting, debugging complex systems and possess excellent problem-solving techniques 

● Work with teams to come up with design spec and other documentations

● Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally

Desired skills:

● Self-motivated, strong sense of ownership, good team player

● Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once and work independently with minimal managerial oversight.

● Have experience in customer deployments

● Open to continuous learning and committed to on-going self-improvement

● Initiate and participate in organizational efforts to improve overall group productivity and up-front SW quality control
