What You'll Do
The Team is comprised of Software Architects and Developers who work on a customer project to understand the customer requirements for Network Automation, implement Cisco’s and 3rd party Network Automation solution with required extensions and customization, integrate into existing customer’s OSS/BSS systems, perform Unit and Solution testing in a development environment, implement the developed solution in a customer’s production environment and then provide day-2 support for optimization.

Who You'll Work With
The Team interacts with customer, Business Units and Sales team during presales activities such as Proof-Of-Concepts and project delivery. Customer include both Service Provider and Enterprise cutover segments.

Who You Are
The Candidate should be able to perform following activities: Technical solution requirements, architecture, design, build, customize, extend, test and acceptance for Tail-NSO and NFV/VMS solutions and associated Systems Integration with customers incumbent OSS/BSS systems.

This person will work with Delivery, Practice, Segment and BU teams to:
• Identify the requirements of these Tailf/NSO and NFV/VMS Solutions
• Design the system preferably using DevOps methodology in Sprints (example: Reqs by 1st week, Design by 2nd week, POC by 4th week, Application/MVP build completion by 10th week in couple of sprints)

The person should have prior experience (about 8 years) of building agile but scalable and highly available software solution for carrier grade production deployments. The person should have prior experience with Virtualization, Cloud Computing and Dev-Ops software development. The person should have an experience with open source tools for increased productivity, security, reliability and performance . The person should have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations. The person should be self-motivated and able to work independently and/or in support of or leading small teams
This person should have hands-on skills on technologies including Java, Linux shell, Python, Perl, Ruby, Chef/Puppet, Web Services (REST), NETCONF, Databases, Middleware technologies, UI/JavaScript, VMware, OpenStack, Big Data and SDLC tools (Jenkins, Git).
